If you are looking for Ms. Yaconetti's Gas Law website then you are in the right place! This website was designed to make gas laws more interesting and user-friendly. To the left of the scuba diver there is heading that include: Background Information, Homework Assignments, Hands-on Demonstration, Hands-on Experiment, Supplemental Material, and a forum. Each of the headings will bring you to another page that will supply information for each part of this unit. In background information, there is a worksheet we will be completing in class and I will let you know when you will need to bring that in. If you have trouble opening the file you can either post on the forum or email me at the address below. In homework assignments, I will have a series of worksheets available (at a later date) that will have homework problems, practice problems, and after the assignment is passed back the answers worked out for you to follow. In hands on demonstration, there is directions for an in-class demonstration I will be performing. If you would like to try it at home (with parents permission of course) there are instructions in the word document and a Youtube video of a simple example of how to complete it. If you are unable to do this at home but would like to try it at home, I have stated on that page that if you bring in your own soda can I will be able to help you after school. In supplemental material, there are several websites in which you can explore other kinds of animations and examples of the gas laws we are going to talk about in class among other ones. If you have any further questions about navigating the website or about the material, please post on the forum or email me at [email protected].
